** 2009 "BROWN BAG" MUSICAL VARIETY SERIES **
The annual "Brown Bag" Musical Variety Series is being continued once again in Lancaster with the help of the Fulton Bank and other downtown area co-sponsors. The 2009 series of 12 performances of lunchtime musical entertainment will be held Fridays beginning June 19 thru September 11 at the Fulton Bank Quadrant of Penn Square.
Performances will occur from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM, allowing brown bag lunchers, visitors, market-goers and other shoppers in the downtown area to enjoy a variety of musical entertainment from our fine area professional musicians while relaxing during the lunch hour.
The 2009 Series is made possible through a grant from the Music Performance Trust Fund of the recording industries (MPTF) as administered by the Greater Lancaster Federation of Musicians, Local 294, AFM, Lancaster, along with the co-sponsors listed below.
The musical federation officers and members would also like to
recognize the assistance and advice received from the Office of the
Mayor, the Office of the Downtown Investment District, and the
Lancaster Parking Authority in helping to perpetuate the series.
